Pet Vet Care Online is registered with the VMD (Veterinary Medicines Directorate) (Reg No. 1089360). We recognise that it is not always possible to visit a veterinary surgery for wormers and other veterinary supplies. Pet Vet Care Online is pleased to be able to offer a service where owners can purchase a range of veterinary supplies that are not available through other outlets. All orders are overseen by a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (M.R.C.V.S) and processed by a Registered Veterinary Nurse (V.N).

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. All payments made on this site are secure (look for the golden padlock displayed in the right hand corner of your screen during payment). We do not attempt to make our prices appear cheaper by displaying them without VAT. All prices displayed on the site are inclusive of VAT. You may notice slight fluctuations in some prices, this is because we strive to obtain products at the best possible prices and will always pass on any reductions and offers to our customers.

TO PAY BY CHEQUE: Process your order and select "Payment by Post or Fax" on the payment page. Print a copy of your order and post it, with a cheque covering the total cost of the order (including postage and packing), to Pet Vet Care, 1 St Katherines, Winterbourne Bassett, Swindon, Wiltshire. SN4 9QG. Please include your name, address, contact telephone number and make your cheque payable to Pet Vet Care. Cheques must have current banker's card number and expiry date, address, postal code and telephone number on the reverse. **You should allow additional time for delivery as the goods will not be dispatched until your cheque has cleared into our account. We will notify you when your order is dispatched.**

TO PAY BY POST USING A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD: Process your order and select "Payment by Post" on the payment page. This will generate a form that can be printed and filled in and posted or faxed. When posting forms containing Credit/Debit card details, please use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery.

TO PAY OVER THE TELEPHONE: Process your order and select "Credit Card Details By Phone"on the payment page, then telephone 01793 739063 and we will process your payment by credit or debit card. There is not extra charge added when card details alone are given by phone. Please note that we close to telephone payments on Thursdays at 10am.

Shipping And Handling
UK SHIPPING

There is a standard shipping fee of £2.88 (£2.50 + VAT) on all UK orders

Items are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Post THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING OR INSURANCE. Pet Vet Care can NOT be held responsible for any losses in transit. Claims for losses can be made on your behalf up to the value of £32. If your order is of high value (0ver £50) you are strongly advised to select 'Special Delivery' at checkout. This includes tracking and insurance. Parcels shipped using Special Delivery require a signature. As a result of an increasing number of items going missing in Company Mailrooms we are advising that any items shipped to work addresses are upgraded to Recorded Delivery, this will not offer additional insurance cover but does require a signature on delivery which will prove whether or not an item has reached its destination. We are unable to make any claims for compensation for losses going to work addresses where Recorded Delivery has not been selected.

Orders are posted within 48 hours of placing (weekdays). Should there be any problems shipping your order within this time frame you will be contacted. If you have had not contact from us within 24 hours your order will have been posted.

If you have chosen to pay by phone or post please note that no goods will be shipped until payment has been made and has cleared.

UK Delivery schedule*

Orders less than 1kg are posted via standard 1st Class Post. Whilst items can arrive within 24 hours this is NOT a guaranteed service and can take up to 5 working days with 15 days being the extreme.

Orders over 1-2kg are posted via standard 2nd Class Post. This can take up to 4 working days.

Orders over 2kg are posted via Royal Mail Standard Parcels and take approx 3 - 5 working days

Recorded Delivery This is no faster than Standard 1st Class Post. A signature will be required on delivery. If there is no one in the package will be returned to your nearest sorting office for you to arrange redelivery.

Special Delivery Orders received before 2pm weekdays** will be received before 1pm the following day. Orders placed on Fridays often arrive on Saturdays but can arrive on Mondays. If items are not in stock and cannot be delivered next day you will be contacted.

*Once packages have left Pet Vet Care the speed of delivery is ultimately dependant on Royal Mail
**On Thursdays the cut off time for Special Delivery for next day is 10am.

Food Orders Orders containing food are shipped via Courier often overnight. A signature is required on delivery. If you have entered delivery instructions online for food to be left if you are out signed delivery instructions must also be left for the driver.


If you have not received your order within 7 working days there is every possibility that your package is being held at your local Post Office Sorting Office. If you are out when delivery is attempted a card should be left notifying you that your package has been taken to the sorting office. Unfortunately this card is not left which means that customers are left unaware.

We reserve the right to add a surcharge to very large orders (non food items over 10kg)

What Happens If My Order Has Not Arrived?

It is extremely rare for items to get lost in the post. If your package is too large to fit through a standard letterbox and you have not left delivery instructions your package will be taken to your nearest Royal Mail Sorting Office.
What SHOULD happen: A Royal Mail calling card is left to inform you that your package has been taken to the Sorting Office for you to collect or to contact them to arrange redelivery.

What OFTEN happens: Royal Mail DO NOT leave a calling card which leaves you unaware that they have attempted delivery and therefore unaware that there is a package waiting to be collected.

If your order has not arrived first contact us to confirm that it has been posted. If so call in at your nearest Sorting Office (it is not possible to get them by phone) and request that they check whether your package is being held there. Or log on to www.royalmail.com and follow the links to arrange a redelivery.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK and EU 17.5% VAT is added. All prices displayed include VAT. There is a standard £2.50 plus VAT shipping charge on all UK orders.
Orders outside the EU are VAT free

Returns Policy Please choose your items carefully. If you are in any doubt as to the most suitable product for your pet's requirements, please contact us at rachel@petvetcare.co.uk.

DAMAGED GOODS
In the unlikely event of damaged goods being received, please notify us within 7 days of receipt of goods, otherwise no claim can be considered as the goods will be considered to have been accepted by you. No claim will be considered if the goods have been altered in any way or willfully damaged, or if the packaging is damaged. The item should be returned to Pet Vet Care within 14 days. Please pack carefully to avoid further damage. You should obtain a proof of postage. No exchange will be made before we receive the returned goods.
CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel the order you must do so within seven working days after the day on which the goods were received otherwise no claim will be considered. You should notify us in writing, either by post (please obtain proof of postage), fax or e-mail. A full refund (less the outward postage and packing charge) will be made on any item returned in unopened packaging, unsoiled and in saleable condition within 14 days. The refund will be made within 30 days of receipt of the goods at Pet Vet Care. You will need to pay for return postage. Please pack carefully to avoid damage. You should obtain a proof of postage and ensure that the items are adequately insured, as Pet Vet Care cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of returns or damaged returns. In the event that you are unable to arrange return carriage Pet Vet Care reserves the right to charge an uplift fee to cover the cost of arranging for a courier company to collect the item from you.
